Current Projects

The UW-MARC researchers are currently focused on critical research with WisDOT about the WHRP 0092-17-04 Project "Field Aging and Moisture Sensitivity Study". The objectives of this research are first to perform a comprehensive review of laboratory aging protocols and select the method that best represents aging of mixtures produced in the field, and second is to define the testing requirements for the Hamburg Wheel Tracking Test as they pertain to estimating performance of mixtures in Wisconsin. More information about this project can be found here.

The UW-MARC researchers are currently focused on critical research with WisDOT about the WHRP 0092-17-06 Project "Investigation of Tack Coat Materials on Tracking Performance". The objective of this research is to perform a critical evaluation of the materials and application methods used in Wisconsin for tack coats in order to provide recommendations that make tack coat usage more efficient and effective. More information about this project can be found here.

The UW-MARC researchers are currently focused on critical research with WisDOT about the Extension of the WHRP (0092-14-20) TPF-5 (302) Project "Modified Binder (PG+) Specifications and Quality Control Criteria Project". More information about this project extension can be found here.
